Ok so i have no idea how his thing works and the page just comes up with the usual this webpage cannot be found.
Help would be kindly appreciated.

You need an IRC client, such as mirc. You can download it from http://www.mirc.com

Once you've installed it you should be able to click on the link and it'll take you do the right pace

I'd actually recommend ChatZilla if you're not used to IRC, and use Firefox. Else yah, mIRC, Pidgin, Trillian Astra (I can invite you to the testing, if you like), anything goes. :)
