Places of interest in Auckland

Hello fellow furries. Just arrived for my degree studies in Auckland. Really new to the area so I'd like to have a few directions about the places I can visit to know more of my soon-to-be home.

Examples like food market, gym, hangout spots etc would be great.

I'll be moving in to Unitec at Mt. Albert soon so any pointers would be appreciated :3.

There's a few furs up at Mt Albert I believe. I'm not a native Aucklander myself, but you could try posting to the mailing list, hopefully someone can help you out :)

Thanks, while I'm still struggling with the freezing and yet cheerful cold air, I'll pop a mail and maybe join in a meet up :3

People do have occasional meet ups..

There's a FA NZfurs group and lots of people are on the facebook/twitter/etc..
